  You know baseball is one of those things that pleasantly sneaks up on me every year. One day in the middle of winter you realize, "oh man catchers and pitchers report in like less than a month" Then another day you realize that spring training games are well under way. One day you wake up and in what will be the closest thing I have, as an adult, to christmas morning and I rush downstairs and turn on the TV because hey man itsOPENING DAY!!!!

    Ha ha ha, you crack me up. The closest thing to Christmas morning. That is it like dead on, dude! All I care about is THE GIANTS HAVE THREE IN A ROW, THE GIANTS HAVE THREE IN A ROW!!!

      Very odd beginning to the year..
      
      Tiggers being 1-8
      The O's, KC and the Fish at 6-3
      and
      St Louis being 7-3

    Woo Hoo!!! My feelings exactly. I take the day off from work, my boss expects it now as I've gone to Opening Day for at least the last 10 years. The Phils, who do not have a winning Opening Day record, lost again this year. But even though it was cold and rainy and the team lost..........it's still Opening Day and there is something special about it. :)
