Jon Lester (the cancer survivor) of the Red Sox just tossed a complete game no hitter at Fenway Park. He walked only 2, struck out 9 and threw 130 pitches. What makes this even more brilliant is that Lester is a lefty, and lefties have notoriously, ridiculous disasters at Fenway. The last southpaw to throw a no hitter for the Sox at Fenway was Mel Parnel in 195something. Red Sox won 7-0.
